The insane summer heat is finally just a sweaty, sticky memory. I actually pulled a shawl out this morning. I never showed you this one. It's one of my favourites.
Textured shawl recipe by Orlane, a free pattern on Ravelry. There are lots of beautiful examples of this pattern. Like this one, this one, and this one.
I used Madeline Tosh Eyre, in a lovely greyish blue colourway (sadly discontinued)
A pure knitting and wearing pleasure.
How about you, are you excited that cooler days are back?

Oh man, I have this shawl in my queue to knit up this fall (with Madtosh Tosh Merino Worsted), but I might have to start it a little sooner after seeing yours!

I knit this last winter for a family friend in a nursing home. This is so lovely, I may have to knit another!

So pretty! I've made one of these, too, and I keep it on my desk chair in the winter. I used Silky Wool, a favorite yarn for its light weight and nubby texture.

No cooler days in these parts yet and I'm not quite ready for them to come just yet. The only thing that doesn't love the heat is my hair but other than that I can't get enough.

Absolutely divine! I would like to walk in your subtle neutrals for a day and you can have my color explosion. The mutual adoration continues.

The color and texture are so lovely.
Imagining you knitting this shawl...
Mm... nice. :)
I wish I were a bit more patient to create knitted items like this. Although I can't make one, it is so good to see the one made by you. ♥
