not only do you knit the most beautiful things (that I could eat up with a spoon!), but your photos are spectacular and really sink into my soul. so graceful and alluring...
Thanks for your last two posts, which brought peace to my mind. You are so lucky to live near such a wonderful place! A few years ago I made primitive camping in a quebecan park, and I think that's the only time I approached nature so close.
This time of year has such a spare, understated beauty to it. It takes a special person (and a special eye) to appreciate it. Thank you for capturing it for us! It brings me right back to all my years in Vermont. I live in Arizona now, and I miss those textures so much.
these are photos I could have taken (which means I totally love them & that they speak to me, btw !) perfect retreat for taking those wonderful macros xoxo
I just came across your blog and how happy I am that I did. I'm inspired by your beautiful photography and knitting. I connected through the bookhou site, I think, and was thrilled to discover that you live in Ottawa. I live just up the street from the Museum of Nature, in the Glebe! I read many blogs from around the world, but what a treat to find one so pretty and so close to home. I am going to seek you out on ravelry as I have some knitting queries for you. :) Stephanie

these images are so beautiful. i especially like the textures in top tree photograph and the dark lines in the tree photograph near the bottom.
the photographs feel so quiet and calm - as if you took completely to heart the purpose of the silent weekend.
i've had a few intensely busy, noisy days and seeing your images reminds that i need to 'reset' my being.
