It's really satisfying making your own clothes. I love the way my new sweater and dress turned out.

Wouldn't it be dreamy to create an entire handmade wardrobe? I don't think I'd have time to pull that off, but I'm definitely going to make more!

i have several skirts and dresses i have created and sewn myself. no one else has anything like them. now i just need to knit myself a sweater or two....!

i love so much everything about your new dress and sweater, they and you are truly beautiful, so so pretty.
it's been many years since i did this, but it wasn't as much for myself as for my children, i LOVED sewing for them, knitting little sweaters. i remember looking at the tova pattern and found it already sold out. maybe burda will have something similar, i like the tunic style, i need to sew again!

They do go together perfectly. I love the slightly flared line of the cardi and the bracelet length cuffs and am in awe of the dress - I can just about zoom up and down in a line with a sewing machine but anything else is completely beyond me! A beautiful outfit indeed and a great start to your handmade wardrobe!

lovely lovely! and how well they compliment each other! just perfect. i'm scared as can be of sewing, but i'm hoping to work my way up to it. for now, i'm trying to mend and alter more garments, but i love the idea of a handmade wardrobe.

The Liberty print is beautiful and, of course, the Tova is fabulous, you may be inspiring me to make a second, this time with some of my squirrelled away tana lawn. I read your interview, funnily enough I am also knitting soay in a colour that isn't grey .. woohoo. I dare say yours will be done before mine but know I am with you on that!
