It was stunning. I went to see it with my husband and my daughter (film student). Husband hated it. Daughter loved it. I loved it but felt like I'd been through a wringer before the film was over. She and I both had totally different interpretations of what Malik was trying to say, but had a wonderful discussion about it, and it is still providing food for thought. The visuals (except for the dinosaurs) were beyond beautiful.
I want to see it again, but I'll really need to be on form. I felt like I'd run a marathon by the end of the film. What a tour de force!
Wow. Looks good. Why haven't I heard any buzz on it?
ReplyDeleteI really want to see this film. Is it as spectacular as the critics rave? JenK
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing this film. I keep hearing how fabulous and poetic it is.

The dinosaurs were superfluous though.
I've been on the fence about seeing that movie. I loved the Thin Red Line and figure that it will be similarly quiet but brutal.
ReplyDeleteI want to see it SO BADLY!!
