Next up are three samples I made for Hannah Fettig's
Little Knitbot collection. She took some of her most popular designs and scaled them down for wee folk.
The yarn for these sweaters is a new one for me, The Fibre Company
Meadow. It's a beautiful blend of merino, llama, silk, linen. The different fibres take in the dye at varying intensities, creating a yarn that has a lot of depth, which is a quality that The Fibre Company excels at. It's got a lovely hand: drapey, heathery, shimmery, with a touch of rustic. And oh, the colours!
(Thank you Hannah for letting me knit for you and use your photos!)
Ridiculously cute model & knits!
ReplyDeleteyour knitting is so beautiful nicole. such a darling model and little knits!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Those little sweaters are darling! I bet they were fun to knit. The Fibre Company let me knit a sample one of their new shawls in Meadow and I fell in love. I need to get some for myself.
ReplyDeleteYour knitting is so beautiful and always inspiring to me! I am knitting a shawl in Meadow right now and I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh these are adorable, I find it difficult to find patterns ( sorry for the repetition) for little girls that don't involve unnecessary frills or strange shapes.
ReplyDeleteThe model and what she's modelling are adorable! And that yarn looks delicious!!
ReplyDeleteYou HAVE been busy! I love these mini versions, I'm knitting one of those for myself as it happens, although mine will be a little larger!!
ReplyDeleteLoving your Roman photos too, we were there last summer. It's an amazing city, that's for sure.

Oh my gosh, the cuteness!! A genius idea to scale down the sizes for girls. The Wispy is my favorite on that adorable little girl. She looks a bit like Suri Cruise.
ReplyDeleteThese are simply stunning. And that yarn sounds unbelievable!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I should make one of these sweaters for my niece.
ReplyDeleteYou are a beautiful knitter, love the cabled scarf. You have made so many stunning garments, great skill!
