Wouldn't it be dreamy to create an entire handmade wardrobe? I don't think I'd have time to pull that off, but I'm definitely going to make more!
(Thank you for the sweet comments about my interview with Vibeke. I so enjoyed doing it. Also, I wanted to give a shout-out to Megan, I totally remember you and your lovely blog! I often wondered about you. Glad to hear you still knit! xoxo)

They do go together perfectly. I love the slightly flared line of the cardi and the bracelet length cuffs and am in awe of the dress - I can just about zoom up and down in a line with a sewing machine but anything else is completely beyond me! A beautiful outfit indeed and a great start to your handmade wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteI sure love the dress ! I am also gearing up for some spring sewing, it's been a good decade since I've sewn a nice princess spring dress for myself. :)

I'm so touched you thought of me Nicole! Thanks for the shout-out. I'm living a cozy, peaceful life in northern Vermont now - and by the lovely tenor of your posts I think we are on the same wavelength! Sometimes I toy with the idea of venturing back to blogging, perhaps . . . we'll see!
ReplyDeleteI'm making my way through your archives and they are just wonderful. You totally inspire me!
And that cardigan . . . and the dress! Stunning. Jenny Gordy and Jared Flood are two of my favorites. I'm enamored by everything they do. I love the pieces you did for Brooklyn Tweed.
