Wishful thinking

I know I'm probably the only human being in the North East wishing that the cold and snow would continue a while longer. They're calling for +10 C and rain all day tomorrow, which breaks my winter-loving heart. The ski trails probably won't recover.

Perhaps if I keep knitting toasty outer wear, Jack Frost will stay a while longer...

The perfectly slouchy, gartery Rikke hat. And bonus, it doesn't give me hat-head.

I rarely knit anything twice, but I will definitely make more of these. Project details can be found here.

Well, I'm off to the woods, to get what may be my last ski of the season...

Je trouve que tu tricottes de si belles pièces! Et les photos sont vraiment merveilleuses!

    T'as bien l'air d'être bien!

  6. Gorgeous hat! Subtle and perfect. I'm a bit sick of winter, but it is still February there's plenty of time to wear woolen knits.

  7. I love the winter but I must admit some sun and warmth would be nice now! That hat looks great, especially as it is a no hat head hat!

  9. I love the yarn. The hat looks great. I cannot help but ask, what is the other yarn piece drapped around the neck?

  11. okay okay, I admit i love winter but it has been a tiny bit difficult dealing with it after a week in the sun with geninne. Your mittens kept me very warm today , to and from work.
